This afternoon we logged on to some terrible revelations regarding James Deen, a porn actor we’ve previously been excited to support. We had never heard anything negative about him before, so we’re shocked and horrified.

Erika made a few statements on Twitter as soon as we saw it, but we thought it worthwhile to make an additional statement here.

Going forward we will no longer be endorsing James Deen or his site. We’ve pulled all our affiliate ads and banners. We’ve also updated the blog posts of the existing comics where he’s mentioned to direct people towards other porn sites. We won’t be removing the comics themselves at this time for posterity, but for the next collection book we will not include our review of his site and the Talking Porn comic will be edited to remove references to him.

Our thoughts go out to his victims, we absolutely support them.
