Matthew Nolan

Creative Director & Editor, He/Him

Matthew’s a white, cis, bi-pan-boy, who’s been working on Oh Joy Sex Toy ever since the beginning! He runs most of the business, takes point on all the editorial and guest artist recruitment, and is there when anything needs doing. Currently, he’s working on turning the site from the ‘Erika and Matthew Show’ into something more diverse and community-focused. He likes shiny bright shoes, enjoys cats, and has a funny accent.

Ziggy

Editor, He/Him

Ziggy is an editor with omg when did I get this old years of experience helping people communicate. He works in academic nonfiction and betas smutty fanfic for fun. Ziggy loves libraries, vegan ice cream, gaming, and his bat-eared dog.

Hien Pham

Monthly Cartoonist, He/Him

Hien Pham (pronounced like Ian with an H) is a queer digital artist specializing in gentle and optimistic comics. His work revolves around respite, caring and loving, and being loved and cared for. Hien’s emotional and introspective interactive fictions are multi-award nominated, and his debut graphic novel, It Will Be Hard, won an Australian Game Developer Award in 2018.

Jey Pawlik

Monthly Cartoonist, They/Them,

Jey Pawlik is a nonbinary comic artist whose goal is to make unapologetically queer comics. They have been working in comics since 2013 with their work being a part of Filthy Figments, and in sexy comic anthologies such as SCORE!, Nectar, and Transfixed. Their specialties are their detailed lineart, autobio stories, and character expressions. Jey’s porn of choice: comics about queer people who are 30+

Erika Moen

Co-Creator & Original Cartoonist, She/Her

Erika drew the majority of the comics for OJST from 2013-2021 (All those pink ones!) but has stepped away to work on her graphic novel. While she’s not here running and working on the site currently, her heart and soul are still a major part of the site, and she contributes the occasional comic from time to time. She likes embroidering and gardening.

Ripley is a queer, agender, cartoonist and illustrator who likes mountains maybe a little too much. Their work focuses on autobio experiences in the great outdoors, silly TTRPG fantasy shenanigans, and the technical bits of hiking and long-distance backpacking. When not picking leaves out of their hair, Ripley enjoys video essays about cinematography and storytelling, with a spicy bowl of ramen.

Dennie Park

Transcription Developer, She/Her, He/Him, They/Them

Dennie is a genderqueer bub who is invested in cultivating accessible spaces for people across this worldwide web and is continually learning from disability justice movements and leaders. Dennie likes to watch cartoons and video game speedruns while eating blocks of uncooked ramen with the little seasoning packet. Forever loved and tormented by their cat.
