This is our second guest comic since our amazing ECCC experience. Can you believe it takes a full two weeks to do a convention and recover in time? Crazy right? Erika and I still feel like we’re playing catch up. But good news: we’re getting SO close to completing our next book files and getting you guys another kickstarter, time to get hyped =D

I know we promote the Patreon a bunch on this site, but I’m going to take a moment to hype it up some more. Without our wonderful Patreon backers we wouldn’t be able to pay guests for these amazing diverse guest comics. With our next kickstarter looming, it’s where we’ll be posting as many behind-the-scenes bits and bobs as we can. And I’m planning to do a bunch of things on there in the next 6 months: give the V1 pdf to $5 backers, give book cover sneak peeks, make some icon sets for patroen users, and do a long over due toys give-a-way.

This week, Sarah Winifred Searle is BACK!
This time with a really sweet comic based around some of her other characters. You might remember Sarah’s previous comics on OJST here (covering a range from hair to body image and weight). Today she’s made us a delicately sexy comic, one that might need some context:

From Sarah: The comic hints at a bigger, more intimate relationship between Milly and Thorburn, one that originated before they came to both work with the department store. If you’re interested in learning more about them, keep an eye out for an appearance in future chapters of Sparks!

I got super excited when Sarah brought this to the table. It sounded super sweet, and Erika and I are suckers for this sort of shy-coy-and-horny Downton Abbey type scenario. If you’re looking for MORE about this particular world, Mrs. Thorburn, and Milly. Check out FilthyFigments (a sexy web-comic porn site that we’re hoping to review next week!), and look for the Sparks story. According to Sarah, it updates with 10 new pages each month =D AND bonus BONUS info: apparently it’s being collected into an Iron Circus Book in 2020 too!!! =D

Oh Joy Sex Toy: Volume 4 doesn’t actually exist yet. It will, by the end of the year! But for now, it’s a PDF waiting to go to the printer and this Photoshop mock-up of what the cover looks like mapped onto a previous OJST volume.

Each volume of our books is STANDALONE and SELF-CONTAINED! Which means you don’t gotta read all of them or in order to enjoy ’em! These books collect dozens of short, completed comics under one roof, there’s no over-arching storyline or character development to track across multiple volumes. You just dip your toe in, read about the time Matt and I visited a Porn studio or had a guest artist explain their kink, and then dip back out. I’ve been told they make for excellent bathroom reading. And don’t you deserve the best when it comes to your toilet time? I think you do.

Sarah’s BACK! You may remember her work from the previous gorgeous comics she’s shared here, A Work in Progress (about body positivity) and HotBod (about how beautiful bigger bodies are <3 ). She makes such lovely comics, both in subject and style. I'm so excited to have her on the site again!

This week, Sarah is covering body aair! The comic was originally JUST meant to show up in black and white in a hair themed Australian anthology, Neither Here Nor Hair (Kickstarter ends May 27th), but we got lucky enough to get a coloured OJST version. We hope you like it – consider backing that Kickstarter!

Right now Erika’s in bed coughing up a lungful after catching a nasty cold (MAYBE A BABY FLU???) from the amazing Spike (She never does things in half measures – even colds)! With the Kickstarter in full flow, and our list of to-do sex education done for the book. We’re hoping to hop back on board of the sex toy reviewing train shortly. Gosh, can you believe it been more than 2 months since we reviewed a toy 0_0 Bonkers – we’re both SO ready to start back up!

Hair Confidence by Devils

Devils debuts on OJST with this sweet, personal story about cutting her hair short for the first time! Man, reading this took me back to the first time I shaved my head in college and what a transformative experience that was. At the start of the quarantine, I decided to let my hair grow out until I got vaccinated. By the time I was getting my shot, my hair was well past my shoulders and I had spent the last year under lockdown not recognizing myself in the mirror. Finally, getting to hack all that heavy hair away earlier this month? I know what Devils means when she writes “It was like the haircut had freed me.” in her comic.
